Flowers truly makes your wedding flourish, so to speak. It subtly fills in the gaps, and set the tone for your greatest adventure yet: that is why it is standard to allocate 10-20% of your total wedding budget to flowers.

The only thing that fluctuates more than the loadshedding schedule, is flower pricing: there is a long list of factors that play in to this: import costs, seasonality of your flowers, the petrol prices, the time of year, special holidays such as Mothers’ Day etc. These factors are all to be taken into consideration by me long before they transpire, that is why flowers tend to be pricier.

I heard a quote the other day that said that the difference between design and art is this: art is creating out of self-expression, whereas design is creating for a function and specific purpose.
